  • New Galloway (9 holes - 3 miles from Brookford) - Hilly Moorland but the views over Loch Ken and the surrounding countryside are magnificent.
  • Castle Douglas (9 holes - 13 miles from Brookford) - A 9 Hole parkland course in Castle Douglas.
  • Thornhill (18 holes - 21 miles from Brookford) - Moorland/Parkland nestling in the hills of picturesque Nithsdale. Original 9 by Willie Fernie in 1893.
  • Kirkcudbright (18 holes - 22 miles from Brookford) - The gentle slopes of Kirkcudbright Golf Course reward the golfer with magnificent panoramic views over the Galloway Hills and the Dee Estuary.
  • Newton Stewart (18 holes - 22 miles from Brookford) - A good parkland/moorland course with spectacular scenery.Enjoyed by all.
  • Dumfries & County (18 holes - 27 miles from Brookford) - Willie Fernie designed this lovely Parkland course which is always in excellent condition.
  • Colvend (18 holes - 27 miles from Brookford) - A picturesque course overlooking the Galloway Hills and across the Solway to the Lake District.   
  • Brighouse Bay (18 holes - 27 miles from Brookford) - Nestling beautifully on the Solway Coastline, with views that take your breath away to the Isle of Man.
  • Dumfries and Galloway (18 holes - 27 miles from Brookford) - Good Parkland course and very busy in season. Two new holes recently open with water features.
  • The Pines (18 holes - 28 miles from Brookford) - Just on the by-pass at Dumfries, this 'pay & play' course has excellent practice facilities - driving range, large putting green & chipping area.
  • Southerness (18 holes - 35 miles from Brookford) - Mackenzie Ross designed this excellent Championship Links, ranked 76 in Golf World's top 100.
  • Wigtownshire and County (Glenluce) (18 holes - 37 miles from Brookford) -  Lovely Links overlooking Luce Bay and always in good condition.
  • Creachmore (Stranraer) (18 holes - 48 miles from Brookford) -  The last course that James Braid designed overlooking Loch Ryan and the in/outgoing Ferries.
  • Portpatrick (Dunskey) (18 holes - 53 miles from Brookford) - Links type course set on high cliffs overlooking the Port with great views over the Irish Sea -on a good day you can see the Mountains of Mourne.
